Dear Spartans,
We are aware of your likely impatience to receive information from us about the 2nd edition of the Spartan Verbier.
Spartan Race Switzerland in agreement with Verbier, confirm you that the weekend of 5th and 6th September 2020 is maintained. We are currently working with the local authorities in order to put in place the necessary arrangements for the health safety recommendations in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
We will communicate to you very soon the details of the rules and recommendations that we will put in place. Depending on the current situation, these measures may evolve or be modified.
Spartan Race Switzerland is doing everything possible to ensure that this event remains a unique sporting experience, but must protect all members of the organisation and participants by respecting the measures designed to fight against COVID-19, published by the Canton of Valais.
Of course, we remain alert to the health situation, which may evolve in either direction, and look forward to the next Ordinance on Measures, which should no longer place restrictions on major events. As things stand at present, the health situation on our territory and the daily standards imposed do not suggest any incompatibility with regard to the proper running of Spartan Verbier.
The Spartan Race Switzerland team is working in close collaboration with all those involved in Verbier to ensure that the Spartan Verbier takes place and marks the reunion of this 2nd edition in Switzerland.
